      Did you not remove the Gremlins before turning on the heating!?

    2. Then check the heater in the basement. And also the freezequard , sometimes they also make this sound.

      Somebody somewhere along the way fucked this up and bricked the pipes in. They‘re under constant strain now and will make this noise till the end of time.

      Source: have the same issue in my bedroom and have consulted several experts already. There is nothing to be done except dig out the pipes.

      In our house, the cause for it was a valve on one of the radiators being installed the wrong way round. Needs to be fixed by an expert if that’s the case.

      Can happen if the flow- direction was connected wrong. By changing the direction, the valve where the temperature-regulator sits can start tatatata.
