The airmen completed basic flight training on the F-16; aircraft control, navigation etc. These pilots are far from ready to fly the F-16 in any offensive or defensive capacity.

This should read “200 Pilots Complete Basic Flight Training in the UK.” Nowhere should the word F-16 appear. This is basic flight training only. The RAF has no F-16s for training or otherwise.

Seems, uh, odd. Normally we hear about like 4 pilots doing training in various places. Edit: Yeah, this is basic flight training, not F-16 training, although I guess going basic flight training on western jets makes F-16 training easier?

I think that thise 200 also includes ground crews.

Let’s hope half of the pilots will not migrate to EU after the end of the active period of the war.
