Wire cutters.
Drill a hole through the cap, decant the brandy into a retsina bottle, and scandalise the whole family by serving out of that.
Is the tag even blocking anything at all?

You can burn it off with a lighter, just be careful
You could go back to the shop you bought it with your receipt and ask them to remove it.
YouTube has loads of videos to remove these.
First aid scizzors? Or Use a saw blade. One of the small teeth ones for cutting metal.
If someone needs help opening this they aren’t old enough to drink it.
Drill into the side of it Until you see where the wire is locked then drill into that , will take 5 minutes

There is a machine in every Garda station that takes these off. You should head on down
I got the same with a bottle of Black Barrel. I burned small holes into the plastic until I was able to remove the spring and the metal pipe that holds it. Good luck and cheers.
P.s. Use it with the tag and swallow your pride > breaking the bottle
There are better bbq lighters then this.
