Seems like he can’t move on from his Apartheid roots.

    2. SpaceX has to deliver a moon lander for NASA so that American astronauts can land on the moon in 2027. I would focus on that rather than meddling in British affairs.

      Just saying.

We can counter with a lot of words but simply: the next time he sets foot on European soil (visiting a production plant or something) he should be arrested for election interference. Doesn’t matter if produces jail time or not. After a day or so ‘on hold’ we could just let him go free, straight back to the us. Next time it will be a week.

    4. If Hitler had Musk’s money backing him, we would all be speaking German.

    5. He always strikes me as what you get when an incel is rich enough to buy some wives. I mean if you feel like you have to tell your wife that you are ‘the alpha’ after the wedding then you have issues. How he can be quite so successful and so childish in how he engages with anyone he feels might make him seem less than a super hero is beyond me. I think he must have some serious daddy issues and didn’t have real friendships as a kid – like Trump?

I don’t get it, what the fuck is this guy playing at? I feel like the general consensus would be that this guy is a fucking idiot for spouting his shit about Tommy Robinson. Twitter is a cesspit of human opinion…

People should get worried whenever Musk starts interfering with politics of your country. He literally is trying to undermine regulations and unions in order to increase his profits. It’s plain as a day for everyone. Anything that benefits consumers or workers is at risk when he is involved.

Sure his companies and people employed by him have done amazing things, but that is separate issue from his political goals.

It worked for him in America, so he’ll try it again, as in Germany.

so he’s pissed off the American right wing and is now moving to cozy with the British right wing

      no thanks

Making a good case for the value (or rather: lack thereof) of the rich.

I remember, in the 80’s, buying a record album called “We Hate You White South African Bastards”.

I still listen to it and enjoy the sentiments… Nothing’s changed, they’ve just filtered out into the world taking their shitty politics with them.

I’m glad more and more people wake up to the fact that capitalism has always, and will always, back the far-right.

As soon as they feel that “business as usual” is even slightly threatened by any sort of increased polarization, guess which side they immediately choose? The Nazi side. They did it in the past, they’re simply doing it again. And it has nothing to do with the colorful personality of one individual: his peers are doing exactly the same, they simply don’t yell it three times a day

Must should just buy Russian presidency instead. No need to deal with pesky institutions, you have free reign to make them anything you desire.

So he bought Twix, then he bought the US elections. What’s for sale in the UK?

Posting this comment again since the other post it was on got deleted:

*To maintain profit levels, the large landowners and industrialists would have to slash wages and raise prices. The state in turn would have to provide them with massive subsidies and tax exemptions. To finance this corporate welfarism, the populace would have to be taxed more heavily, and social services and welfare expenditures would have to be drastically cut—measures that might sound familiar to us today.*

*But the government was not completely free to pursue this course. By 1921, many Italian workers and peasants were unionized and had their own political organizations. With demonstrations, strikes, boycotts, factory takeovers, and the forceable occupation of farmlands, they had won the right to organize, along with concessions in wages and work conditions.*

*To impose a full measure of austerity upon workers and peasants, the ruling economic interests would have to abolish the democratic rights that helped the masses defend their modest living standards. The solution was to smash their unions, political organizations, and civil liberties. Industrialists and big landowners wanted someone at the helm who could break the power of organized workers and farm laborers and impose a stern order on the masses. For this task Benito Mussolini, armed with his gangs of Blackshirts, seemed the likely candidate.*

Just a little quote from Michael Parenti. All of this has happened before, and we’re letting it happen now in America and in Europe because it’s just cool to let rich people do whatever they want I guess. Elon is no different to the corporate fascists who supported Mussolini and later the Nazis.

I hope for him his position comes with diplomatic immunity, because it would be very easy to get himself in hot water over the next few years.

I just want to know which far-right party will he support in Croatia. The only relevant far-right party here, DP (Homeland Movement) had it’s last nail in the coffin this election. When they advertised themselves as anti-HDZ party, bashed them wherever they could, and when they won some seats, immediately went with HDZ. There was a fight in the party and it actually separated to two different one. Now neither can get more than 3% of support.

He can now either support centre-right HDZ, centre-left SDP and centre-left greens Možemo. To his disappointment, all three have strong support for EU, NATO and Ukraine. All parties in Croatia support Ukraine, there isn’t a party that supports Russia.

He obviously has to distract the news from the fact that Tesla is selling less cars than expected (-1.1% vs full year 2023)

Elon Musk became a net negative for civilization some time ago. Any good he’s done for things like slave travel are outweighed by his promotion of fascism and his efforts to ruin western democracies.

Fuck Musk, I hope he loses everything

    21. Disgusting person that benefited from apartheid. He should be jailed and his wealth redistributed to help those his family exploited

It’s a dangerous suggestion cause it blurs the line of where ‘free speech’ begins and ends, but I think we need to have a serious conversation about banning Twitter in the UK and Europe.

Other platforms like 4chan and hell even basic Facebook push right wing scare mongering, but Twitter has become a totally different beast. Musk is actively pumping a site full of bots and propaganda with the explicit, stated agenda to destabilise foreign nations for profit.

It’s built on lies and a facade of fake users with malice in mind. That’s personally enough for me to say the site should be blacklisted as it’s radicalising millions on nothing but false info. If this was a Chinese or Russian site operating in the exact same way it would’ve been investigated and blocked LONG before it reached this point.
