ciao popolo svedese! Mio padre ha recentemente visitato la Svezia e mi ha riportato questa barretta di cioccolato per il suo nome dal suono strano. abbiamo discusso molto se si pronuncia “plop” o “ploop” (che suona più come cacca). ho cercato su google ma non riesco a trovare nessuna risposta. per favore aiutami così possiamo goderci adeguatamente il nostro plopp. grazie ☺️

The “L” is silent
Two consonants after a vowel generally indicates it should be a short vowel, especially if it’s a double consonant.

O in this case is pronounced like in Octagon.
plop, like pop
Like the word “flop” (Flopping) but replace f with p
it’s like how you pronounce pop, but with an L.
Standard pronunciation in Swedish is that all vowels are pronounced as dubble vowels are in English, instead you add two consonants after to make the other sound.
