Ukraine is using its experience, to modify weapon systems. Their hands on experience, using these weapon systems in real world battles, gives them unique insights into modifications that are needed.
Which are invaluable to the users, as well as the manufacturers of the weapon systems.
Insane that the US has provided only ONE patriot system. Like wtf?
I was a kid when it happened, but I am old enough to remember when the USSR broke up. So every time I see a headline like “Ukrainian made upgrade kit for American Patriot launchers” it tickles me. Still sounds like a crazy plot point from a Tom Clancy story.
Anyhow, I am glad that the Ukrainians are keeping those things safe and staying in the fight.
