That’s Orban’s doing. Hungary voted for that crooked asshole themselves. This is what ten years of far-right national-populism will do.

But leave it to Orban and his brainless supporters to blame it on the EU, the left, the elite, immigrants, muslims, and colored people eating your cats and dogs.

But hey, at least Orban and his crooked family and friends got insanely rich from EU’s taxpayer’s money… So all’s good, I guess…

Orban is right when he says that Ukraine prohibited Hungarian Language in the Hungarian speaking territories of Ukraine, but unfortunately aligning with Russia against the EU is not appreciated.

It’s a shame. Terribly sad how this country was pushed to the edge by Orban and his oligarchs. Mini version of Russia. Eventhough the communism had an end in 1989, nothing really changed. We just can hope for a better future with the upcoming elections in 2026.

Oh, yes… *our Father in heaven, give us today our daily anti-Hungary propaganda*.

Be advised that DailyNewsHungary is a propaganda rag, not a serious newspaper – obvious to anybody just by the quality of the writing. One has to wonder if OP has any other hobbies apart from re-posting this bullshit here every other day…

It needed a lot of time to fell behind, and that was mostly because of Orbán and his corrupt, crony capitalist attitude.

Ie. Both Bulgaria and Romania decided to at least try to deal with their corruption while Hungary has gone rapidly downhill.

Have fun celebrating your ‘traditional values’, idiots!

Yeah. That wasnt the EU. That was Hungary electing a corrupt, autocratic idiot who decided to ruin the economy by looting the country.

“after joining the EU” as in if that was the reason…

It’s almost like a vote for populism is a vote for more of the same. If they want to move beyond their point of stagnation, doing more of the same is not going to do it.

Shocking it might be, but completely predictable. This happens when a narrow elite simply strip-mines the country by stealing everything.

Can anyone explain why Hungary is Pro Russia considering its 40+ years behind he iron curtain.

    13. Need_For_Speed73 on

How? Orban! Nationalist populism, a 100% safe recipe to make people poor and ignorant (that is the soil on which nationalist populism grows best). And the best part is that when they realize they are poor, you can always blame some foreign enemy (in this case the EU) and keep your power in place.
