You see the thing is we are already paying a lot more for it? This crowd would want to be careful or they might fuck things up for themselves

So are we going to pay less in agricultural subsidies that were meant to help ensure reasonably priced food?

Wow it sure is great living in such a high GDP country, so much GDP, I can barely control myself

I have no problem paying more for food if it goes to the farmers.

It’s extremely trivial in the greater scheme of things, but their name really bugs me. Leans into the Gaeilge but doesn’t really read right at all

Profit margin actually went down from 1.6% in 2021 to 1.46% in 2022, a nearly 9% decrease.

Of course the amount of profit increased, as revenue, and therefore costs also increased

For what it’s worth, revenue went up 36% in that period and profits went up 24%, so this is definitely not price gouging.

This is reflected across the board, inflation is due to costs, not profits

    8. Well guess i will have to but cheap online and fuck local food

Hey dawg, we heard you’re all rich, so we put some extra costs on your extra costs. Not being paid by an American tech company or working somewhere that pays the big bucks?

You about that two tier economy life…..well we heard you like passenger caps too, so we decided to put some extra costs on your flights out of here as a fuck off present for you when you realise you can’t afford to live in the country you grew up in anymore and have no choice but to emigrate.

Yo MTV thanks for pimping my future.

I was listening to the other hand podcast and the irish economist reckons inflation between 2020 and now was 20%. Thats fucking nuts.

It’s not really considering food inflation was running above 10% for 2020 and 2021.

The CEOs will have to get used to the rise in Luigi Mangiones then!
