Man just hopped onto the train carrying a decommissioned gun, not a care in the world.
So he wanted to sell a decommissioned gun and slung it over his shoulder and went off to stop all the trains at rush hour. He’s the lad stopping in the middle of the street to have a bit of a think, oblivious to everything around him, isn’t he?

I own a decommissioned firearm. I go to great lengths to keep it well packed, double wrapped inside the packaging and in a box out of sight when it’s moved anywhere. Taking any sort of imitation firearm or deactivated historical firearm out in public is brain dead.
Galaxy brain moment.
I love how we’re all here berating this genius for carrying a decommissioned firearm in full public view, where some Americans’ heads are probably exploding at the fuss being made here.
I wouldn’t have it any other way tbh.
Smartest Maynoothian.
Is a decommissioned gun even a gun, or just a lump of steel?
Reminds me of years ago, I had to go to the Garda barracks to get a form signed, and in walks an old woman with an old shotgun on her arm. The Gardai pretty quickly jumped I’ll tell you 😁.
Turns out her husband had owned and liscenced it and all, but had died a time beforehand. She was tonging the local Gardai to see what to do with it as she didn’t want it about the house, and between local barracks being closed, no Gardai bothering to get back to her or tell her what to do, she brought it into this larger barracks to see what was what!
It was fuckin hilarious… I was in the foyer of the station and yer Wan beside me with the gun…. I hadn’t the Heart to tell her I was there first and ahead of her in the queue
Smooth brain
Sure the greens asked us to use public transport more
>The seized firearm was allegedly being openly carried and caused concern among passengers, it is understood.
How fucking thick can you be? Honestly. If he had stuck it in a gear bag he would have had no issues. Did he intentionally get caught?
Is it just me or did the citizen journalists become very quiet and move on ?
Possibly unrelated by Gardai also pulled a guy going southbound off the dart shortly after that. I wonder could that have been the buyer?
