Sono una recente aggiunta alla Germania dal Regno Unito. Lì io e il mio cane abbiamo raccolto le riprese locali di fagiani e pernici, lo facciamo da diversi anni. Ho anche lavorato in fattorie commerciali allevando uccelli e ho trascorso diversi anni a elaborare scheletri e teschi di caccia. Ora che siamo in Germania, abbiamo dovuto fermarci perché le leggi sulla caccia sono più severe e il Regno Unito non impone esami se usi il tuo cane per stanare o recuperare e non usi armi da fuoco, quindi non abbiamo alcuna certificazione.
Ho intenzione di risparmiare per la mia licenza di caccia tramite Ausbildung, ma prima di fare questo passo vorrei iniziare a leggere un po’ adesso. Qualcuno ha qualche consiglio su libri o link ecc. che posso leggere per iniziare? Su cosa dovrei concentrarmi sull’apprendimento, come le specie, ecc.?

I think it depends on the state your living in, in your case I’d simply ask the local hunting club in your city
A good shout for general reading is the Seibt bible. Look for the newest issue of “Seibt – Grundwissen Jägerprüfung”. The detailed curriculum does depend on your state, but the book contains all of the general stuff and is an excellent starting point.

1st) You need to be german citizen, i am unsure if you can get the license if you are only here on a visa/aufenthaltsbescheinigung (there is a hunting permit for foreigners, but it is geared towards people that come to germany for a hunting trip and are not permanently living here)
2nd) you can go for the license via hunting schools (often 14 day courses) or via the local Jägerschaft. their courses often take between 6-9 months (but you only meet once/twice per week for a couple hours in the evening or on weekends, while the hunting schools are like a job (8-17) and you will need to use your vacation.
3rd) you should be proficient in the german language, both written and spoken. the knowledge is hard enough to aquire/learn, so having issues understanding the multiple choice test and the oral exam.
4th) your dog needs to get a license as well if you want to use him/her for hunting purposes in germany (Brauchbarkeitsbescheinigung)
P.S. i recommend doing the license in niedersachsen or schleswig-holstein, as those are pretty much the easiest to get. especially the southern states are tougher.
