Le forze russe potrebbero aver contaminato circa il 30% del territorio ucraino con mine e ordigni inesplosi, ovvero circa 174.000 km², un’area più grande della Grecia.
Ukraine’s sappers clear about 30 km², neutralize over 1,500 explosives in one week

There are so many mines it will take 100 years to clean them all up. Unbelievable! They are doing great work ..
Brave people, a complete crime that they are needed
Not that ZSU has any spare munition for it, but, is it possible to rain things small enough on mined fields so as to trigger fake explosions within a specific range, to then get rid of the mines easier?
For example, rain clusters of shoes (or similarly shaped objects) on a specific area, somehow trigger the mines.
The soil for potential farmland would indeed be ruined, but perhaps that’s the least of the worries right now.
As a retired combat engineer, my heart goes out to these guys. Clearing minefields is beyond tiring. Complacency is what will get you killed. My job in Afghanistan was to clear roads (among other things) of IEDs. That was tough enough. Minefield clearing is on a whole other level.
Chimo, lads.
Let’s go! 🇺🇦
That’s a ton. Step by step, this will make a huge impact.
Cool, cool… But how in the hell do those guys move around disarming mines, without their huge balls setting off the mines?
We need more photos of Patron doing his thing. That little bugger is too cute.
