Il direttore della scuola di Zaventem lancia l’allarme sui problemi comportamentali degli studenti: “Serve aiuto urgente”

>Kurt Gommers, director of the ZAVO secondary school in Zaventem, has written an open letter to Flemish Minister of Education Zuhal Demir (N-VA). This is what De Tijd and Mediahuis newspapers write. Gommers wrote the letter together with a group of teachers, directors, care coordinators and student counselors. They are very concerned about the many behavioral problems and mental well-being of their students and are asking for help.

I wonder if mental well-being of young people is becoming a time bomb…

How long and what must happen for us to realize that education (and healthcare) should be the main pillars that we take seriously, investing whatever would be necessary to guarantee enough resources to students and working conditions to teachers?
