(Semi)governments should get rid of Twitter altogether. It is no longer a publicly accessible channel. Not to mention Musk’s idiotic behavior and political influence in various countries.
I am inclined to say that government should continue to use X if that is an efficient way of communicating information to their people. That’s their mandate.

Applause for every democratic and decent institution or body taking its account from the sewer to anywhere else.
This should be the default position for all government departments across Europe.
Every sane and decent European should leave this garbage bin and delete the accounts (official/public or private).
