How well do the cars hold up to the cold?

      ETA:

I do drive an electric, and around here is almost never cold enough for that to be an issue, but these last few days have been cold enough for me to notice a few things.

Good colour scheme, except that hybrids should not be green but a mix of blue and brown, to represent their cleanness apropriately.

Joke aside, well done so far Denmark.

How is insurance for EVs in Denmark vs ICEs? Because some time ago my work colleagues from Denmark complained that any savings on gas went directly to higher car insurance. Is that a case?

Was there some legislation that “forced” them or is it something else that explains this sudden change?

At the same time, the average age of cars is getting higher and higher, according to statistics. For the whole EU, it’s 12.3 years (up from 11.1 yrs in 2017), but in Hungary, for example, it’s 15–16 years. This is because people can’t afford new cars (I mean petrol cars, so electric ones are even more out of reach). Older cars, in turn, mean worse emissions.

Electrification is happening both slower and faster than I expected.
