You can’t tolerate this kind of stuff in a democracy. it’s as simple as that really. If you tolerate it, you end up undermining the whole democratic system that the country’s built on.

It’s very much a form of terrorism. We are excusing it as ‘far right’ but if some paramilitary threatened to kill a TD’s partner, there would be an immediate and very serious response, which is how any such incident should be treated.
