About 15 to be left in work from home positions, the other 295 to lose their jobs. That’s rough.

According to the business news this morning they are expanding in Dublin. Sounded like the many of the Wexford roles are being moved to Dublin. It’s one thing to lose jobs overseas but losing them to Dublin will mean some questions for the Government.

I would recon WFH had a big part in this. All well and good if you can get it but if a company like BNY is looking at a office attendance rate of 10-15% in their Wexford branch it’s pretty easy to see why they would close such branch.
