      As someone who is not blonde (blue-eyed though), I am almost getting offended each time I hear this 😄

      I didn’t think they were all blonde hair and blue eyed. I have a suspicion they are all beautiful though

      I don’t get the point of using the argument. Even if every single Ukrainian would be blond with blue eyes it wouldn’t suddenly make it less of a crime to invade a country and target civilians.

      OP, as a person who is not Ukrainian, and has never been there, I’m somewhat curious as to how you are defining white privilege.

      I wouldn’t care if Ukrainians were all blue eyed blonde haired, I would still support them fully. As a non white american, I support people not being invaded, just because you think you have the power to invade. Period. Also “white privilege” is a very American focused statement that does not apply in this situation at all.

      Even my mom commented before on how Ukrainians usually have such beautiful brown hair. She hated it when a Ukrainian woman on TV (long before 2022) wanted to look more “American” (meaning plastic surgery and blonde hair dye) as if she wasn’t already beautiful.

      And yeah, I agree with her. Cliche as it sounds, Ukrainians are wonderful just the way they are.

      A few hours ago I put some blue colored contacts on the eyes of an Ukrainian woman. And she wasn’t blonde either. X)
