    Previsione della tempesta Éowyn – Per favore fate attenzione: questa NON è UNA TEMPESTA ORDINARIA!


    Ciao, sono un meteorologo portoghese, spero che stiate tutti bene!

    Sto seguendo questo sistema di tempeste, proveniente dagli Stati Uniti, e guidato da una corrente a getto insolitamente forte, ormai da 3 o 4 giorni… Ho esaminato oltre dieci modelli ad alta risoluzione, ho visto la tendenza nel modello EURO (e il suo insieme) così come il modello UKV, che in realtà si è appena aggiornato mentre scrivo proprio adesso, e sembra sempre peggio

    Allo stato attuale, a 30 ore dalla fine, queste sono le previsioni…

    Pressione: fino a 933-940mb (territorio uragano cat3 qui…)

    Venti: fino a 100mph, forse 120\130mph nella costa esposta dell’Irlanda occidentale. 90 miglia orarie diffuse. Impatti anche per quasi tutto il Regno Unito: molti record del vento verranno battuti, forse il record del vento irlandese di TUTTI I TEMPI…

    Onde: sopra i 10 metri di altezza significativa, forse anche 12 metri, con forti temporali

    Alta stagione: venerdì mattina\primo pomeriggio per Irlanda e Irlanda del Nord, fino a sera (Irlanda orientale, Inghilterra e Scozia)

      Thank you. It seems terrifying. I am 200m above sea level and am expecting a battering. We had serious storm damage in 2000.

      Thanks OP, for the update. Just one thing to note, though. In Ireland, we have used kph for decades in our weather reports. The UK uses mph.
