Hello there. Have some knowledge about the theme. Of course water everywhere is contaminated with PFAS. If you probably want to have some answers you can try AGE – [https://eau.gouvernement.lu/fr.html](https://eau.gouvernement.lu/fr.html)
I know they developed analytical methods to test exactly PFAS in waters. It’s a government body so the research and data is accurate.
You even have a FAQ here: [https://eau.gouvernement.lu/fr/actualites/2024/07-juillet/faq-tfa-pfas.html](https://eau.gouvernement.lu/fr/actualites/2024/07-juillet/faq-tfa-pfas.html)
There was a report posted here a few weeks ago (referencing to Mouveco I think) about popular bottled mineral water brands being polluted with PFAS as well (incl. a local one that was anonymized for whatever reason).
In the age of rising (yet poorly understood) chronic conditions, it would indeed make sense to look at them as possible risk factors given they have already been associated with certain chronic illnesses.
Here is a map of PFAS pollution in the EU by foreverpollution
