Just get the blue manual one, a lot cheaper and does the trick

Had three of these in different cars, they work just fine. Just check that the inside display shows time every now and then so it has not ran out of battery.
It sticks to the windscreen on inside, so put on passenger side lower corner.
I have a similar one, though not that particular model. Can highly recommend. It’s great.
