Perché non ci sono sforzi attivi per restaurare questo monumento e riportarlo al suo antico splendore? L’ho controllato l’altro giorno di persona ed è spettacolare. È molto triste vedere come un edificio così fantastico sia stato rovinato senza una ragione giustificabile.

It shouldn’t be restored. The best thing to do with the land is to build a monument of actual national heroes that did something good for the county
It should be removed.
Wasn’t there some activity around restoring it for concert venues? I seem to recall that there were doors added? Others said it was just a money making scam, so I don’t know.
There are people who work to preserve at least some of the internal mosaics. Check here
