The EU should tame and breed polar bears and have soldiers riding along Greenland’s coastline on them.

Do they have sea leopards in Greenland too or they only live in penguin land?

      Edit:

I asked ChatGPT to create a picture of that. 😆👌🏻

So for Context, why do this? Even if the Americans take it and they have the means to do it, take it without fighting is politically diferent than with a fight. Because the reaction of public opinion in Europe are much diferent, the reality is Danes will barely fight for it, let alone other Europeans, but they will fight for their own.

      The man is correct.
We really, really, should look closer to what goes down in the Arctic region. Russians and Chinese are not idling over there, but we kinda are.

Trump attacks and invades a member of NATO. This may finally wake Europe up to the fact that the US can no longer be relied on.

Before we send more troops to an island in the arctic, we should step up our game in continental Europe. We have an aggressor at our doorstep that needs containment first and foremost. Greenland isnt going anywhere anytime soon and aggressive action is worth more reaction than aggressive and dumb words from a US President, who changes topics and ideas the same way, as others breath in and out.

The EU should indeed send soldiers. To defend against orange flavored three day special military operation.

on which side was Austria in WW2? Why does it need Greenland?

I would be delighted to see there the first EU army base

      What do you mean, “should”?

Are they not on their way already?

    10. Yeah, away from the actual front…you know… in the east…

    11. I don’t really see the need for suddenly having Europeans involving themselves in the affairs of the Kingdom of Denmark. I appreciate, welcome and expect support from our European allies, not themselves suddenly suggesting what to do military in danish territory publicly and also without even mentioning the Greenlandic people. There might be a future where Greenland and Denmark reach out to European allies about cooperation in the security in the arctic. But to just suggest it in public, first and foremost is simply stupid and make it seem like it is up to the EU to decide is just as stupid.

Best way for the EU to signal it won’t accept an invasion of Greenland, would be to step up, and send troops to help stop the currently active invasion happening on its continent.

The EU is idling in AI, idling in military strength and idling in geopolitics. It really needs to step things up.

Good idea. One of the reasons trump wants Greenland is because he feels Denmark isn’t doing enough to contain Russia and China. If the EU got involved, it would deter Russia and China while also satisfying Trump. Two birds, one stone.

The EU needs a capable air force and a navy then. After that we can try.

    16. EU cannot send troops anywhere, that would fall to individual states. And Greenland isn’t even in the EU.

European militaries don’t even know if to step with the right foot first or the right foot first. Just glued to the left.
