Take some of the money and spray on Greenland: Not for sale. No trespassing!

I asked this a couple of time and i’ll ask again :

WTF is happening WHEN the US will invade a NATO country ? War between the US and the EU ? nukes (Fr, Uk, US) ?

      :-/

We should send troops there and I mean Europe, not NATO.

Danish defense restructure plan includes a new shipyard to service existing navy vessels and build a lot of new ones.
Most of that new material will not be available during a regular second term 4 year of Trump presidency.

It has to be clear to everyone now. The US-European partnership is over. NATO is dead. Europe has to wake up and build up its own defense fast. It should have already happened 2016.

    6. “Responding” this has been in the works for a while…last i checked.

Ugh, now Trump will go, “see i made them be serious”

    7. 2.1 billion dollar for arctic defence alone is crazy but so were the calls between Trump and Denmark and it’s gonna be worth it in the long run with the arctic ocean nearing a “ice free” state, thus clearing new routes for ship travel.

Better safe than sorry I suppose. A couple hundred european troops on Greenland would certainly help as a deterrent too but that’s on Denmark to decide.

This is good. It probably will not deter Trump Admin. However, the EU will have to stop some important exports to the US. Trump Admin thinks they can bully everyone. It’s crazy to think the US under Trump will have a bad, aggressive relationship to the North of the border with Canada; South of the border with Mexico and Latin America; China to the west and EU to the east.
