Ciao a tutti, sto viaggiando in Finlandia in circa una settimana (febbraio 2025) e mi chiedevo come sia l’attuale situazione della neve?
Sono molto interessato a vedere le foreste in neve e la mia ricerca dice che il Parco Nazionale di Riisitunturi è un ottimo sito, ma la mia impressione (che spero sia sbagliata) è che ormai non c’è così tanta neve. Com’è davvero?
Andremo a Levi, Saariselka e Kuusamo, quindi se pensi a qualsiasi altro buon posto o da fare in queste aree, nonché a qualsiasi consiglio, impressioni e opinioni da parte di persone attualmente nella zona sarebbero molto apprezzati!

There’s less than on average but there is still lot of it, unless it stays above zero and rains untill your trip it should be fine. But it has been unusually warm all over. Hope you have a nice trip.
FMI (finnish meteorolgy institute) sayis Rovaniemi has about 35-40cm. https://en.ilmatieteenlaitos.fi/ you can follow and check spesific areas from there, click statistics and then snow statistics
In Saariselkä you can ski in Urho Kekkonen national park. You can get guided tours or just ski by yourself. There’s a track that goes to the top of Kaunispää, which I really recommend.
