      Garda gets caught buying coke for him and his mate. €400 fine. Man gets caught with €20 of weed. Judge says he funds drugs gangs and give him a 4 month stint in portloaise

      I mean, maybe I’m wrong, but I don’t think it’s unreasonable that we ask that the people tasked with enforcing the laws, don’t break the laws themselves.

      At least not the criminal laws anyway.

      If you’re doing something illegal while being in a position like that I actually think should be the complete opposite of mitigation!

      He’ll probably get at least 10 more cracks of the whip at being a dealer, alls not lost on that front yet.

      Well I am not Sherlock Holmes (and apparently neither is this former garda) but is this something he wasn’t expecting to happen?

      Is this not the definition of f around and finding out….

      Only question is was he working as a garda while doing it…doing crime in Gardai uniform should invoke river of other charges not just drug dealing and possession
