    1. This is not pollable because it’s pure stupidity. Don’t get caught in this gaslighting event.

Yesterday another poll shows 86%… by this pace next week it’s gonna get sold haha

Lol….and we all know how accurate polls are! 💩💩💩

      How do greenlanders feel though.

I bet they’d rather be EU citizens but we should poll them

This feels very much like putin and ukraine early days tho. Kinda scary

Truly a shocking paradigm shift for a very close ally to suddenly be your biggest threat. I was naïve to think the era of geopolitics was over.

US used to be our strong, kind and friendly, but slightly self indulged neighbour. Now it’s just a big bad bully we would like to move across town, go to juvie or whatever. Just get rid or get right.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but what does the average Dane who’s not involved in geopolitics get if Denmark keeps Greenland? Why do so many Danes oppose losing a part of their country that doesn’t want to belong to Denmark and that they’re never going to set foot on?

Edit: I didn’t know asking questions as a foreigner gets you downvoted on this sub. Won’t happen again, sorry!

I guess a similar percentage of Brits felt the same way about India in 1947 but colonialism is looked down upon………..

I’m pretty sure that nearly half of the entire planet sees the US as a treat.

Given by historical record that Denmark surrendered to Nazi Germany within first six hours of invasion, I really don’t think their opinions matter. How many minutes can armed forces from Denmark stand against US Navy? Well, 30 minutes would be an optimistic guess, and 60 minutes are completely delusional.

The US would love to send in the multi-nationals to despoil Greenland. None of those pesky pollution controls to worry about either.

I wonder what would happen if the US just tried to seize it militarily? Just marched in and said they were in charge in a show of force? I doubt anyone would stop them. Is there anything that could be done to disincentivize the administration from doing that?

Serious question to Danes: Does Denmark profit from having Greenland? I mean, is it fiscally beneficial?

I don’t want to question the right of territorial sovereignity or anything, I’m just curious that how Greenland affects the Danish economy. I.e.: Could Trump and his Russian agents incite the Danes claiming how good it would be economically to sell the island?

It’s like a game of Civ or Total War, how fast your allies turn on you. Could say the same about Germany invading the USSR after the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact.

    14. Hour-Energy9052 on

The Nazis want to invade the Vikings territory. And the Danes are helplessly waiving their arms like “wtf is even happening?!” What a fucking crazzzzzy timeline to be in lmao I could not have predicted this. We need new South Park episodes to know what to expect this next season of America lol

I would sell it for the states of New York+Florida+California+Washington+Texas

tell trump this and he will buy Greenland for sure

Took the orange man only 2 weeks to undo decades of deplomacy and turn off its closest allies.
