In January russia suffered 48,240 casualties which is only 430 short of the record set in December 2024.

Between 17 December 2024 and 15 January 2025, 49,160 personnel were either killed or wounded which is the highest number for any 30-day period of this war.

Furthermore, a record 2,954 vehicles and fuel tanks were destroyed by the AFU. That number far eclipses the previous record of 2,469 set in November 2024.

The AFU also managed to intercept a record number of UAVs. 2,563 were shot down in January while the previous record was just 1,815 (September 2024).
