Why am I not surprised? 
I’d imagine our protocol for a nuclear disaster would be fucking ace
It is genuinely baffling to me that, this long since the storm, there are still many towns and villages totally/partially without electricity. I see many people here saying the problem is that people don’t live densely, but it seems we can’t even get power back to larger population centers quickly.
That because storms don’t happen – it’s the ice giants fighting with the wind gods again, you cannot make a plan for that!
Let’s hope we don’t need to use those protocols because they will be deemed a failure as well
This country is quite bad at damage control in general. Whether it’s dubious design decisions, wear / tear, no contingency plan / etc is another story
