It’s actually terrifying how easily Russians are just convinced to walk to their death like this. Like what a failed society they must be in where their leader basically says go die and they obediently just comply…I mean at this point in time the high casualty rate can not be hidden from Russians, you can’t have that many dead and crippled soldiers and it not be painfully obvious what is happening. Let alone the news and media, sure Russia does its best to clamp down on western news sources, but it’s not possible to completely prevent it. At this point time it’s really sad to see, Russia in the long run is absolutely fucked demographically and economically. Even if they beat Ukraine they will continue to suffer horrific loses as the Ukrainians wage insurgent wars against the Russian occupation. Beating the Ukrainian military won’t be the end of the war, it will just move the war from frontlines to every square kilometer of Ukraine where the opportunity to kill Russians is possible. Ukraine likely has the most weapons and ammo per square kilometer than any country on earth now. I’m sure every Ukrainian could go for a walk in the woods and find a working rifle. Stockpiles of grenades, missiles and other weapon caches will be spread all over.

There is no glorious victory for Russia, it’s like watching the bully get his ass beat in a street fight, his face is bloodied and he can’t get his balance but he keeps getting up trying to fight out of misplaced pride. Eventually either his friends pull him back or he gets beat unconscious.
