      Double sided provocation.

His pet Trump undermining on one side, Putin encouraging breaking ties on the other.

    2. NorvernMunkey on

I think Putin must now bow bow to Trump, and wag, what is left, of his tail.

    3. Electricrain on

Everything Putin says is manipulation and has no informational value.

    4. Putin must be salivating right now and watching how the US is just imploding.

    5. Mountain-Fox-2123 on

I hate Putin, but in this case, he is most likely correct.

    6. Glittering-Gene7215 on

The EU has no reckless politician with guts. Only those who express concern and condemnation. So yes, he’s right about that.

    7. Relevant_Helicopter6 on

Putin, nice of you to reveal your game this early. Like in the movies, villains always talk too much. It will be your undoing.

    8. Of course, he says that. He loves the way things in the West has developed in the past weeks. We’re now so busy working against each other with tariffs and diplomatic crises because of Trump that we forget the real issues, including the war in Ukraine. Putin just loves this shit…

    9. Lion8330 on

In my opinion, this is a pure propaganda, Putin is trying to sow discord between the EU and the US before the upcoming talks and the end of the war, which will trigger his end too.

    10. There is a mythology that Europe is uniquely weak, unable to change, and an eternal sucker. Putin will be the first to propagate it.

We will not take Putins attempt at reverse psychology and forever burn all bridges to the United States. We will stand up to Trump where it makes sense.

    11. Clear_Hawk_6187 on

I know I’ll most likely be attacked for that, but I think Putin is correct on this occasion.

Trump is doing whatever he wants and I don’t see this changing anytime soon.

He is literally aiming to annex Greenland and Canada. If that’s not a proof of Trump thinking he can do whatever he wants, I don’t know what is. And USA has the strongest army in the world so there’s that.

I don’t think Europe will stand against Trump.

The ones who think that they are kindred spirits with Trump already do. They’ve got their noses buried deep in his diaper.

We should start treating American Olegarchs like we do the Russian ones.

Aint no billionaires gonna tell me they’re more important than my democracy. Fuck off.

    15. JimMaToo on

Trump wants EU to spend more on defense, Putin makes a win out of it, lol. In reality he is trying to bitch up to trump “good one, orange boy, you showed the euros who is the boss. Pls forget the thing with dumping oil prices”

    16. r19111911 on

Well he will not be wrong. The sucking up to USA is strong in all of Europe.

    17. Shot-Total-2575 on

      Lol, reverse phycology? 😂

We are pissed not dumb. Putin forgot that trump is even older than him and can drop dead at any moment.

    18. Spoonshape on

A few of the right wing shitheads probably will…. Europe has seen what happens when you appease a bully though.

    19. lurkindasub on

Of course he wants to promote division between the west.

Sell American stocks. Invest in the European economy instead.

    22. AdminEating_Dragon on

The worst thing is he might be right. So far we don’t see enouraging signs from European leaders: we see silence, milktoast responses to Trump’s lunatic ramblings, and unwillingless to spearhead change for an independent, liberal, democratic Europe. They prefer pretending nothing is happening hoping it will go away.

And the voters are mostly to blame: these changes will have short-term costs, and they aren’t willing to stomach them, first sign of trouble and they go running to the far-right.

    23. miamigrandprix on

My view has been for a while that we need a United States of Europe. The biggest issue with European strength is that ultimately it is a bunch of small countries and so we are weak against external aggression and vulnerable to petty infighting.

The world has entered a dark era where empires invade and annex their smaller neighbours. If Europe and democracy is to survive we can only do it through strength and unity.

    24. I read his comments differently and connected to his kgb mindset. He wants Europe to go at war [economic war] with United States, and by declaring that Europe is weak, he wants Europe to not negotiate with the Orange chimp and go straight to economic war. He needs this thing to happen because it will be beneficial to his genocide in Ukraine.

    25. Some politicians will, no doubt. However, others bowed to Putin and wag their tail, but luckily I see people finally rising up.

The bitch who was going to take over Ukraine in 3 days barks a lot but has no bite. Keep shouting from your bunker in Moscow, you moron!

    28. Funny thing is that thought that is a bit exaggeration, they would if not for Trump being such a idiot, USA is important ally, and peoole want to have good relations with them.

    29. Haha rus tyrant dictator is right this time. Eu leaders are weak, very weak.

    30. CommieBorks on

Sooner or later putin will bow to Xi and wag his tail as his country and economy fall apart.

    31. Monster-Leg on

Could all these old, shitty fascists just have a heart attack already?

    32. Dude that Putin guy is right, Europe and the US should have a fight after school

    33. pogo0004 on

Nice bit of Shit-talk from Putin. Backs the EU into a corner. Back down and you’re weak in Russia’s eyes. Stand up and confront Trump and you’re doing Putin’s work for him. Genius.

    34. No. We wil just regulate ourselves to death about the whole situation.

I’m sure, he doesn’t believe it himself. Ir’s all to divide and scre us.

I dont I want to hear anybody say anything about how bad of a potential partner China would be. This should say it all. China is Honestly looking more and more like the only actual developing superpower at this moment, and the only viable trading partner.

    38. NumerousDay917 on

I’m just wondering why Congress or Senate isn’t stepping in and putting a halt to some of this crap that he’s doing and holding him accountable for single-handedly trying to destroy the global economy
