Dude on 3rd pic looks like Hansi Flick and Donald Tusk had a child.
It’s sad how the only time Croatians can incomodate themselves is when it’s about fucking sports.
In the last year alone there has been dozens of reasons to get out of work and occupy the main square with torches.

no one else like europeans, i’ve travelled to US and South america and europeans are more united
although south americans take it more personally if they lose
Nice party but it would have been a nice opportunity to show the government a protest by not going, I believe they on purpose pumped up the show to make people forget the boycott and the prices in supermarkets. Panem et circenses. They literally invited the biggest croatian singers and flew military jets on tax money.
Y’all gotta admit – we *do know* how to throw a fucking party lol.
As for the “wish we would do this with protesting” comments – I agree. Hopefuly the boycotts these past weeks are laying the groundwork for that. But for now, stuff like this is nice escapism from all the shit we’re dealing with.
Also it’s beaufitul to see our handball team doing good again. Heart wrenching how much we’ve fallen off, but this generation has so much promise.
