Ciao, spero che qualcuno possa aiutarmi. Il nostro cane assomiglia un po ‘a un kangal. Quando lo confronti con un kangal, diventa rapidamente chiaro che i cangonieri hanno gambe anteriori più forti e un’altra forma del viso. Mentre lo prendiamo da un’organizzazione per cani-salvati non abbiamo alcuna informazione sui suoi antenati. Ha una piccola quantità di kangal nel suo DNA (sotto il 10%) ma non è un discendente diretto di uno.
Prima di avere il nostro cane eravamo spesso in Danimarca e adoriamo il tuo paese, ma con lui sono un po ‘preoccupato che lo porteranno da noi solo perché un po’ sembra un canguro con il suo colore di pelliccia.
Hai qualche consiglio su come dimostrare in Danimarca che non è un canguro?

I’d be blown over backwards, like front page media blown over backwards, if someone ‘took’ your dog for being 10% kangal…
As long as he doesn’t bite or make people feel unsafe, no one is going to bother you. That goes for any dog, golden retriever or Chihuahua.
And if you had to take him to a vet in Denmark for some reason, I’d be even more surprised if the vet took any kind of action over 10% kangal, especially if he’s well mannered. Even more so if you just don’t mention it, and if the vet goes “is that a kangal”, you can enter into dialogue with the vet about the 10% .
