    1. I even searched by image but can not find an exact explanation.
      Some say it’s for dusts. Some say it’s for cables.

      The most logical reason I heard is it’s for locking your stuff while you’re gone. But still.. How is there no official info about this 😬

      I don’t know but I would guess they might be loops to lock a padlock too if you needed to use the toilet for example and wanted to leave your things

      I would assume it’s so you can lock your laptop to it with a Kensington lock or similar

    4. I assume you’re looking at university’s library or the like. You use a Kensington lock to connect your computer to that ring so you can leave the desk without it getting stolen.

      I know that desk in which library. During Prüfungszeit (now), it’s a miracle to find a free one

      been there 4 years 😬 so glad I’m done but had nice memories there. keep up with the hard work!
