All of this seems pretty stupid tbh. Retail doesn’t even make large profits, so what are these businesses supposed to do?

Is that like a specific retail brand or all out boycott?

Boycotting what?

We don’t have any boycotts in Slovenia. In fact, our stores are even more packed now because many Croatians are shopping across the border

In Albania, the big supermarket chains are generally 20% more expensive than your local mom & pop run stores. this clearly shouldnt be the case since they have much better supply chains, i.e the boycotts

Legitimate question i have: are groceries not inelastic demand? how is it a boycott to not buy for a day, couple of days when in the end that just means on other days more stuff will be bought to even it out, essentially resulting in no net loss for the companies? or is it a boycott of certain chains exclusively?
im currently in croatia for a few days so i have heard of it but i haven’t really been able to understand what this boycott is supposed to achieve and how it is supposed to do it

So a day after your grand boycott you buy twice the stuff.
If businesses are smart they’ll subtly increase the prices on that day.
No seriously; what’s the point?

Romanians are week people, they are not united. You can do whatever you desire with Romanians! You can do whatever you want and they will not say anything. Real slaves!

When are we boycotting? I’m happy to boycott, if you boycott. Just tell me when to boycott.

Romania will fail boycotting supermarkets, most of Romanians jobs are based in retail. Small towns are dependent on retail jobs.
