Glad to see something economically positive coming out of Europe for once.
Please… Spain’s economy has been growing just due to the large amounts of immigration that it is receiving, mostly from LatAm.
The productivity in the country has been stagnant for 2 decades and the purchase power of the Spanish citizen has been declining since then. Poverty is at the highest level since several decades.
It is very good that the country has been growing… But growth is just a part of the story and it is a very weak growth.
The good news are that most of these immigrants from LatAm are not only super well integrated but also have a very entrepreneurial mindset.
