      Someone is bitter

Her song was awful, people are allowed to say so

She has always, always been bitter. That part of the reason she got dropped as a younstre. Insulted the wrong people and that was the end of her career.
Now she’s trying to get it back and she does it again. Very silly.

Get a grip and get over yourself. Put yourself out there and expect the criticism. I was rooting for her all the way but her song was very poor.

Would she please. Please. Please go away. Why is she still on tv in 2025. Someone make it stop.

She called for them to choke on a pack of dicks.

Bobbi Arlo said she lost cause were too homophobic as a country to let someone like her win

Entirely legitimate to criticize a panel out together to judge musical talent which is composed of a dancer, a TV chef, and a radio presenter.

Bambi Thug’s credentials are a little light to be judging it too, but at least she has experience of the musical industry and the Eurovision. Puts her streets ahead of the other clowns.

I’m guessing the other three were the only ones available on the night.

    7. Her performance had the vocal power of a broken clock radio from the 80s. Really felt like she was just there for sake of trying to be relevant.

The judging panel could’ve been A-list industry specialists or Nora from the local deli – you’d still issue the same outcome.

I remember years ago she was on some show where the premise was that a comedian, I can’t remember who, stayed the night in her house and chatted. And she started ranting about how she hated Dave Fanning and accused him of being racist because he didn’t like her little brother, Omero Mumba’s song. So yeah, she seems to hold grudges.

Controversial opinion but in a world full of AI written, media trained statements and expensive PR companies, I find it absolutely refreshing to hear an Irish ma tell a panel to choke on a bag of dicks. Sue me!!

Rude? Oh no. When did the EBU and Eurovision stop being Nazis?

Samantha Mumba! A promising career cut short by a desperately sad lack of talent.

The childish tantrum optics aside, Eurosong desperately needs to move away from the Late Late setup. It’s not some twee competition for auld ones anymore.

Performers deserve a proper stage. The audience deserves greater choice than 6 songs and the jury should be larger but with a smaller of a proportion of the vote, in line with Eurovision voting.

Is Norma Foley in charge or something? Because genuinely that’s how RTE comes across these days.

    13. Mam, can we have Azealia Banks ?

*No, we have Samantha Mumba at home.*

      Someone’s trying to stay relevant.

I do think the panel quality was pretty shite but none of them were that rude to be fair.

And they were referred to as “judges”….imagine, a judge, judging you!

    15. LurkerByNatureGT on

She might not like their credentials, but the critiques they gave were more than fair and the public sour grapes are kind of embarrassing.

Her song was absolute and utter scutter. Dogshit. I mean I’ve heard better sounds coming out of my arse.

    17. Alarmed_Station6185 on

She’s right. The panel were a joke, noone with any relevant experience apart from bambi thug. It’s a bit weird to be sending a Norwegian to compete for us as well. Plenty of homegrown talent they could have chosen instead

She’s throwing her toys out of the pram by the sound of things. In fairness, the judging panel was pretty weak. Having a show outside of the Late Late with a more reputable judging panel would be better, it’s not as if we don’t have enough Eurovision winners who are up for being on the panel, combine it with an audience vote. Anyway, they seem to be pushing the Donal and Arthur friendship as a comedy duo.

In short, the ‘bag of d**ks’ comment was hilarious.

The whole spectacle was embarrassing , from presenting to the judging panel to the production.

Utter shite from start to finish
