“Large and spacious bedroom” – ‘large’ and ‘spacious’ doing a ***lot*** of heaving lifting there… the bedroom also seems to have a serious damp problem…Good to see it has central heating, though (which is more than my flat does), but I bet it’s got no insulation (my flat doesn’t either) and is absolutely ***BALTIC*** in the winter.
I remember when 1300p/m would get you a decent sized 2 bed apartment in Kildare. How far we have fallen.

Brutal. I’m constantly arguing with my wife about moving back to her home country. While I want to stay in Ireland and think it’s better for our kids , this kinda shit is where I can’t disagree with her on. The situation is fucked altogether
Used to rent a 3 bed house in Ovens, Cork for that much back in say 2014/15 and that was bank account breaking.
It’s sheer greed that people charge that much for a room. My eldest kid was really hoping to move out late this year with their partner and there’s not a chance it’ll be affordable
