
Hey tutti. Di recente mi sono reso conto che c’è una crepa sul muro poiché l’edificio è del XIX secolo poiché la maggior parte degli edifici è vecchia.
Dovremmo contattare il proprietario? In questo caso ciò che potrebbero fare in quanto non è come dipingere cose.

If the crack appeared while you were living there, definitely. Same if it wasn’t on your Wohnungsübergabeprotokoll.

if you do not report the damage and it causes consequential damage or it could have prevented greater damage, the landlord could at least partially hold you liable. is rare but can happen
Yes, definitely notify the landlord. In the worst case, cracks are a symptom of structural problems and have to be looked at by professionals. Could also be harmless, but in any case, the landlord needs to know.
Edit: if they decide a structural analyst has to take a look at it, it might be necessary to remove some grout to see how deep it goes.
