      People don’t see how Russia already failed for almost two and a half years because every occupied (or rather destroyed) village gets reported (sometimes more than once) make people think they’re still making significant progress.

      Ukraine has an area of 600,000 km².

      At the beginning of the full invasion, Russia held 43,000 km² (Crimea and the parts in the Donbas). Initially they managed to take 153,000 km² by April 2022.

      Ukraine managed to recapture 40,000 km² in the first two counter-offensives. That was from April 2022 to Dec. 2022.

      Since then – which is over two years – the Russians have gained just 6,000 km². And they’re slowing down, resorting to attacks with buggies and bikes. Logistics done by civilian trucks and donkeys.

      Relax people!!! USA/Trump understands that UA will never just give everything away! NATO membership will have to wait obviously in exchange for security guarantees from EU/USA. Some territory will have to be negotiated sadly. I guess Donbas/Donetsk will be Russian and that Kherson/Zaporizjzja will be on the table for UA.

      EU will step up if USA steps down with support. Let’s just pray it’s enough! I hate the orcz as much as anyone else here!

      This is the most frustrating part of the entire conversation. The US and UK literally promised Ukraine security in exchange for giving up their nukes. This isn’t a conversation, it’s the US and UK holding up their end of the deal…

      I suggest, that Ukraine enters negotiations with France and the UK for a few nuclear warheads, in exchange for some mineral rights. Win, win. AND will make trump/putin lovers very happy. A little humor in a bad situation.

      Do we know that those are the terms that have been set and that they will be agreed to? All I’ve heard are that there will be talks. There have been talks before but nothing has come of them.

      Make Nukes NOW, US can’t be trusted for quite some time. EU will help where we can, but Im not sure it will be enough. Get nukes.. you already have the materials and the knowledge.

      We don’t yet know what Trump is going to do. He has a strong hand to play, if he wants to. Russia is losing the war of attrition, and desperately needs a breather. The war is wrecking its military and economy. Trump can push Putin hard if he wants to. Anything less will make him look like a traitor and a loser.
