They stressed the need for *”strong security guarantees”* for Ukraine and insisted that *”Ukraine and Europe must be part of any negotiations.”*
The ministers also emphasized that *”a just and lasting peace in Ukraine is a necessary condition for a strong transatlantic security.”*
The statement underlined that European security is a *”common responsibility”* and pledged efforts to strengthen collective defense in coordination with American allies.
