Let’s be clear why he supports Ukraines accession. He is a populist and just says what people want to hear, and in the UK the support for Ukraine is utterly-rock-solid. I have not heard a single person every mention the quack lines that other countries have to deal with, in fact you often see Ukrainian flags. Therefore his stance is pragmatism, and doubtful ideological.

New marching orders from Moscow I guess. The thing is, it’s not hard to see how NATO membership can be used as a stick to beat Ukraine with. Russia did so successfully for 8 years from 2014 to 2022.
This was always the problem with Ukraine joining NATO in the middle of the Russian invasion. Either it means a hot war between Russia and all of NATO, with NATO now taking over the conflict and Ukraine taking a back seat in its own affairs; or it obliges Ukraine to accept permanent territorial cession to Russia.
Maybe one or the other of those outcomes is desirable. Without arguing that point, though, let’s at least agree that they are widely disparate outcomes, and everyone including Ukraine would need to be completely clear about which course of action they intend to follow, before joining. That conversation has never happened.
Not to mention that both of those outcomes are massively radical shifts in Ukraine’s situation with profound downsides from Ukraine’s point of view, if not also NATO’s, and it’s never been clear that either is what Ukraine actually wants.
So now the Kremlinoids are coming out of the woodwork saying that they want Ukraine in NATO. You wouldn’t trust them before, don’t trust them now.

Cock nose is snotting out more lies with his thirst for power so he can fuck all the people who voted for him in exchange for more money in his back pocket later down the line. Deport the cunt to Rwanda please.

The thing about right-wing populists is that they’ll lie their asses off to get elected and then make a 180 degree turn and do the exact opposite..

Well, even if he is saying this because he is fishing for votes, it’s good to know that support for Ukraine in the UK is so high that even the likes of Farage have to account for this in their rethoric.
I wish right wing populists in other countries had the same voting constraints.

I knew the UK was gonna save our bacon. I just knew it.
How many times will the UK have to be the sensible one for my country?
Thanks, mates. Slava Ukraini, priority #1 until it’s done.
