Nothing for it only common sense, abolish Bus connects and let cars drive in bus lanes, that way at least people won’t be delayed because of busses. QED. For the avoidance of doubt this was meant sarcastically.

Am I very lucky? Only Dublin bus route I’ve ever experienced ghost buses on was the 44 (both times I tried to take it lol). Every other route I’ve taken has been perfectly fine, including quite a few Go-Ahead routes (N2, W4, L1, L2, L15, 220 IIRC). I’m not a regular user of any of those so maybe that’s helping.
They are all pretty good for me .. 38 / 39 / 122 / 70. I use bustimes.org for location searches.
It’s all the people who are on the bus when it disappears I feel bad for.
If you think ghost buses are bad, try being a non-corporeal citizen and having real buses showing up all the time.
