Now more than ever, NATO needs to support Ukraine.
Solidarity with Ukraine’s to become a full member is vital, with Putin’s aggressive actions in full display.
Putin isn’t going to stop at Ukraine, any sign of weakness ion the part of NATO is dangerous.
Fuck these guys are all greedy fucks. You do it today. Then we swap next week. That way nothing happens. Ukraine just needs to offer their rare earth products to any European country willing to support and protect them. Give them enough time to rebuild and build up their military. There is no way around it. NATO has too many rules that it is designed so it’s hard to join. Everyone will use it for political gains. Ukraine just need to go “50% of all mines for the next 50 years for protection.”
What’s the point?
Why are we still talking about NATO? Ukraine should join nato but it won’t, it won’t be able to. It requires unanimous support of members and you have USA, Germany saying no, not to mention Slovakia and Hungary which swore to not let Ukraine join.
We need an alternative to NATO. Perhaps a complementary alliance (not a NATO replacement), a ‘coalition of the willing’.
Seriously who the fuck does the US think it is?
Honestly, the EU ought to do everything it can. As an American, I wish I could do more than I have. Bitching at my reps has clearly not been enough.
