I think the most frequently used tactic of the far right, is to use peoples abhorrence of them and willingness to promote draconian action against them, in order to erode rights for _everyone_, and promote increased authoritarianism in dealing with _everyone_.
It is incredibly successful, too. To the point that it makes you wonder how many of the folks who profess to ‘hate’ the far right, are actually a part of them.

The judge agreed with the prosecution and held that the accused was “not protected by the claim of being a journalist, or a citizen journalist, or a credited journalist, or a judge or a priest or whatever, you are still subject to the rigours of section 8 of the Public Order Act”.
This is what he and thee rest of those clowns don’t seem to grasp. You are not exempt from the law or Garda directions because you claim to be a journalist.
