On weekends the payment can delay for a day or few days. Usually it’s quick but it can happen. If you still don’t have the money on your LHV bank account on Monday, I would call the bank.

Different banks, SEPA direct debit does not work on weekends.

As far as I know, the interbank SEPA payments take place 5 times a day on business days, but nothing happens on the weekends.

      [More info](https://www.eestipank.ee/en/frequently-asked-question-about-sepa-0):

      >Bank clients need to be aware that if money has to reach its destination in another bank on the same working day, the payment needs to be initiated in Swedbank, SEB or Danske Bank by 16.30 at the latest, and in Nordea by 15.30 at the latest. For some banks the final deadline for making payments could be 15.00. If a payment is started later, it will reach the payee on the next working day, at around 10.00. Payments previously reached their destination on the same working day if they were made before 17.00.

      >Payments within banks will be made in the same way as they have been up to now. Payments within one bank will be made around the clock, even at weekends and holidays.

      > Payments initiated on business days before 16.45 will reach the recipient on the same day; payments initiated after 16.45 will reach the recipient on the **next business day**

A SEPA payment initiated at the weekend will be received by the recipient on Monday after 8:45 a.m. So it can take until Monday.

Both Coop and LHV are part of instant transfer system, witch means that the money should arrive with minutes between the banks, but if there’s some trouble with the system it’ll take time. If it has not appeared on the first business day after the transfer then contact the banks.
