From 3 hours to 2 hours. It seems like Belgium is finally getting its act together to improve the connection. However, I still believe that this is not enough. From Brussels to Paris, it’s 260km by train and only takes 1h30min, whereas the Lux-Bxl connection will take 2 hours for a 188km trip. It’s of course good to see an improvement here but this is far from the original plans of the EuroCap-Rail project which projected a high-speed rail connection from Strasbourg through Luxembourg City and to Brussels to connect the EU capitals.
If i recall train travel time in 1980s was quicker between Brussels and Luxembourg.
Eurostar from Lux to London would be awesome
