      Those are minerals in the water that come to the surface when a moist-problem dries out.

      i swear those type of tiles are all over belgium. both on the floor and against the wall. i have it too. they are kristals of saltminerals. you have a humidity problem. you can just brush it off. but a treatment to deal with the humidity is advised. not sure if insurance will be helpful as they might consider it a pre-existing condition.

      That is salpetre, because you have humidity in your walls.

      These are hygroscopic salts. They often indicate a moisture problem, specifically rising damp.

      Not a thing to leave unattended if you don’t want your moisture problem worsening.
