Well, as always in Irish justice, victims and their families come dead last.
“Meehan believes, had she not asked, she never would have been informed of the release.“
She doesn’t even know if she wouldn’t have been informed. The release is still more than a year away.
Surely it is about time that the justice system started to put the victims and their families first? Do the victims not get any follow on victim support as they try to piece together again?
This is so cruel to not keep them up to date.
