I am sick and tired of Armenian newspapers outright lying nonstop. This goes to the Armenian diaspora, which I am a part of. If you want to liberate Artsakh, go and fight. If you don’t, then shut the fuck up and let Armenia and Armenians heal and prosper. ENOUGH!

It’s some ARF guys opinion piece. The ARF for some reason has decided they’re all going to promote this idea that Armenia gave away Artsakh, rather than fighting and losing a war for it.

Lies and bullshit, starting with the headline.
> Most governmental leaders around the world resign immediately after suffering such a devastating loss in war.
Lie. He didn’t lose the war. The ARF-Rob-Serzh coalition of 20 years of pillaging Armenia lost the war, with their own generals leading the military still at the time of the war. All Pashinyan had done was beef up military spending to acquire better arms and improve conditions for soldiers.
> Pashinyan is stubbornly clinging to power
Lie. He won a free and clean election less than a year after the war. Your party lost. Badly.
> He has not lifted a finger to secure the release of Artsakh’s leaders who are being tried in Baku.
Lie. They have said they are working on this behind the scenes and they would know.
> The question was: “When will I return to Artsakh?” Simonyan replied: “When it is safe, when we sign a peace treaty. You got out of there, because it was not safe, even though it was possible to stay and fight till the end with the weapons that Armenia had left. You should have fought, Armenia fought.” This is the usual tactic of Pashinyan’s clan. Put the blame for their own failures on everyone else.
Funny it was the ARF in charge of Artsakh for just 1 week when they ignored Pashinyan’s strong urging to negotiate with Baku directly, then got invaded when they refused, and then they capitulated and signed the end of the Artsakh Republic in less than 24 hours. Interestingly enough, those specific ARF leaders who signed it were not arrested when leaving Artsakh, but their predecessors in jail in Baku now were… could it be they negotiated for their own skins but not Ruben’s and Arayik’s?
> Only a defeatist high-ranking official would talk like that.
Or a realist who doesn’t want to invite more problems for the actual soldiers that stand on the front lines, unlike you or your family members whose lives are not on the line.
> Simonyan’s anti-Artsakh comments generated immediate outrage throughout Armenia and the Diaspora. Several major Armenian and Artsakh organizations issued statements lambasting him.
Yes, well everything anyone in govt says is cause for the ARF to get their panties in a bunch.
> Instead of lecturing Artsakh Armenians about staying and fighting, Simonyan should look at the self-defeating behavior of his own government which did not lift a finger to come to the rescue of fellow Armenians in Artsakh — the constitutional obligation of the Armenian government.
Keep talking stupid shit. That would have been an open invitation for Azerbaijan to invade and take Syunik, which it seems would have made you happy from the way you suggest this. Perhaps you think that would have finally gotten him out of power and the ARF back in?
