      Do any of these people want to still go back under Russian rule ?

      I realize some did before the war or at least sympathized with Russia; however they can’t be happy with the last years.

      Ukraine has a quarter of the resources of Russia and Russia has gained effectively nothing. Imagine what would happen if Europe actually believed it could win a war against a country whose economy is about one twentieth its size. Russia has an economy about the size of Spain. If we had of put on money where our mouth is two years ago this would be over by now and the autocrats of the world would have been left with nothing more than a sobering lesson to base their future ambitions on. War is now the least violent option. The alternative is a new iron curtain with an imperialist America threat coming from the other side.
